Zoo Updates:
Zoo hours 9a - 4p
Giraffe encounter Monday - Friday 10:00a - 10:45a and additional on Saturday - Sunday 12p - 12:30p
Goat encounter 9:30a - 10a daily
Education Staff animal encounter 11a daily

Animal Updates:
Animal intros: giraffe, elephants, anteaters, capy/screamer/swan
Rhinos: Yebonga AM and Fireball PM.
There is a new female southern screamer. She and Echo are going through introductions.
Two Abdim's storks have been added to the female tortoise habitat by black-and-white ruffed lemur.
All of the elephants have been introduced and are on habitat together most days in the morning.
Construction Updates:
Pathway to Asia construction has started. Completion is expected for spring/summer 2026.

If you are not a Zoo Crew or Docent volunteer, and would like access to CollaborNation, please contact the Volunteer Department. Access trainings from Reid Park Zoo and other organizations on animals, conservation, and other Zoo specific topics. Most of the courses are free and can be counted as continuing education units.
