A new female giraffe has arrived to be a companion for Penelope, her name is Msituni (see-two-knee).
Construction Updates:
Pathway to Asia construction is underway. Completion is expected for Fall 2026.
There is an elephant sculpture at the entrance to the parking lot off Randolph Way made out of recycled materials. The elephant does not have tusks to bring attention to ivory.

Access trainings from Reid Park Zoo and other organizations on animals, conservation, and other Zoo specific topics. Most of the courses are free and can be counted as continuing education units.
