If you are a current volunteer and would like an opportunity to assist in an animal area, the goat yard volunteer opportunity may be great for you. This role is physically demanding, requires lifting, current vaccinations and a weekly ongoing commitment.

Animal Updates:
Animal intros: elephants, Andean bears, tamanduas
Rhinos in habitat: Effective May 14, 2026 Fireball AM and Yebonga PM.
Rainbow and Chica, Blue-and-yellow Macaws, are back in the satellite extension of the Flight Connection Aviary. There are signs explaining Chica's feather plucking behavior and permanent signs will have a QR code with a link to more information.
Construction Updates:
Pathway to Asia construction is moving along. Completion is expected for Winter 2026.
